Ce pont fut construit en 1861-1862 en remplacement du "pont de la réforme" devenu trop étroit. Il raccorde l'île Saint-Louis à la rive droite de la Seine.
This bridge was built in 1861-1862 in replacement of the "reform bridge", which became too narrow. It connects the Saint-Louis island to the right bank of the Seine river.
